| The Thermaflo Type PT “Smart” Valve is specifically engineered for high flow turn down steam control applications. A main feature is the single seated fully balanced trim construction that allows the valve to control over wide flow demand ranges such as instantaneous steam water heaters, steam pressure reducing, and deareator pressure control applications. The seat is protected from direct flow impingement but allows for dead tight shutoff Class VI, when required on long stand-by no load applications. |
| The ThermaFlo Diaphragm
Control Valve is semi-steel body with either bronze or stainless
steel trim. Inner valve is skirt guided and supplied in either quick-opening
or percentage V-port construction. Soft seat composition inserts are
available with quick-opening inner valves on both double and single
seated seats. Extra deep stuffing box with TEFLON packing is standard.
Asbestos packing with lubricator is optional. Quick opening inner
valves are low lift. Percentage inner are high lift. The ThermaFlo Model EC-800 Electronic Controller is an “out of the box” solution for temperature, level, and flow control applications. The digital self-tuning controller is mounted in a Nema-4 enclosure and is pre-wired to a I/P (current to pneumatic) transducer. Standard features include highly visible status lights, output pressure gauge, pneumatic quick connects, high temperature relays and alarms, and field termination connectors. |
