FT 550 Ball Float Steam Trap

The FT550 Series float and thermostatic traps were designed for applications where the continuous flow of condensate must be removed at or near steam temperature to promote high latent heat transfer of the steam BTUs. Typical applications include drying cylinders, unit heaters, air coils, main line steam drip points, heat exchangers, and jacketed kettles and tanks.

Internals are Completely Removable Without Breaking the inline Connections

Maximum body design conditions:

PMA — max. allowable pressure: 232 psi / 16 bar

TMA — max. allowable temperature:450F

Cold hydraulic test: 348 psi / 24 bar
