Model IB Bucket Traps

Designed for dependable service, long life and low maintenance for medium and high pressure steam Thermaflo bucket traps feature an inverted bucket design with corrosion resistant stainless steel components providing optimal performance laundry equipment, blast coils, hot water heaters, steam kettles and a wide range of industrial and process applications. The valve seat and plug are in the top of the bucket away from the dirt and debris that collect in the trap body. 

OPERATION 

The key to the long life and reliability of a Thermaflo bucket trap is to select the actual pressure differential of your application. A bucket trap being used for a greater differential than its rating will not open. Conversely a trap with a rating that exceeds the differential will oper-ate at a reduced capacity.
